ASUS ROG Releases Maximus Z790 Hero EVA-02 Collaboration from the Legendary Anime Series Evangelion, Limited Edition
Anime lovers must be familiar with the animation Neon Genesis Evangelion (Shin Seiki Evangerion). This animation was released in 1995, and is still a favourite of many people. In 2023, Asus ROG launched a collaboration product with Evangelion, in the form of a PC and peripherals with the EVA-02 theme. This is the second collaboration, after releasing EVA-01 last year.
This line of Asus ROG devices includes PC components such as the ROG Maximus Z790 Hero EVA-02 Edition motherboard, ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 EVA-02 Edition graphics card, and ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB EVA-02 Edition AIO cooler.
Other devices released are the ROG Strix Scope RX EVA-02 Edition search keyboard, ROG Gladius III Wireless AimPoint EVA-02 Edition mouse, and other complementary accessories, all of which have Evangelion nuances. With a red colour scheme, this series combines the characteristic colours of the character Asuka Langley Soryu.
Maximus Z790 Hero EVA-02 Edition is a motherboard with an Intel LGA 1700 socket. This means that this motherboard is ready to be used for 13th generation, 12th generation Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron processors.
